How to Set a Custom Author Page

The Affiliate24 themes come with custom author pages which you can use instead of the standard author pages which WordPress creates for you.

Now, what you want is that when a visitor clicks on an author link in your content, she gets taken straight to your custom author page.

In order to connect your custom author page to the author link in your content, go to the WordPress dashboard.

Then go to Users » All users. 

Click on the user for whom you want to set the custom author page, and paste the URL from your custom author page in the Website section.

Just make sure to click the Update Profile button at the bottom of the page.

And that’s it, the author link in your content is now connected to your custom author page.
